Amini is proudly Chagga tribe from the Kilimanjaro region one among the fifth-biggest ethnic group in Tanzania, he is one of our safari guides team who has worked his way up through several pieces of training of walking and guiding in Tarangire national park.
After he obtained a Diploma in professional tour guiding and leadership, in 2021 he started off at Northland Tanzania Safaris as a safari guide taking guests to different safari destinations in Tanzania. Due to his development and increased wildlife knowledge, Amini became a fully licensed safari guide and walking safari guide.
One of Amini’s most interesting sightings was in Lake Manyara National Park where he and his guests observed some interesting behavior of a vervet monkey grooming an olive baboon. This inter-specific behavior is unusual, but it is these types of sightings that make every safari different and helps one realize that it is not only about the Big 5 people are always focusing to see. Therefore, Amini enjoys taking guests on a walking safari, so as to be closer to nature and to observe many of the overlooked aspects of our wonderful wilderness.
Amini says “Karibu Tanzania” (welcome to Tanzania) and is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and experiences with you in a safari vehicle as well as on foot on this wonderful continent of East Africa.
